The IU Cybersecurity Clinic is a pro-bono student clinic with directors from the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, Maurer School of Law, and Kelly School of Business for improving local and state cyber hygiene by providing cybersecurity solutions to non-profits, hospitals, municipalities, local government agencies, and small business. I participated in the clinic during the Spring 2024 semester.

Our objective was to create and implement a new cybersecurity clinic modeling our own as a template. Firstly, we needed to understand the underlying structure and function of student clinics, and how they are successfully executed. Then we researched our particular client, to gather knowledge of how to best tailor a clinic to our archetype of students at the university. Finally, we hosted the "pilot" stage of the clinic, where we were able to validate/invalidate our proposed recommendations from our research.

This document is one of our final deliverables to our client and is an outline of our proposed clinic to be adopted by the university. This white paper contains our finals recommendations validated from my pilot phase to be instituted for the permanent form of the clinic. It also contains procedures for amending to this document to account for future developments & additions which may be implemented to the same clinic. The clinic will be hosted for students at the university for the first time during the Fall 2024 semester.
